Skliri Beach
Skliri is a small east-side beach near Skala, useful for visitors who want to move beyond the main village beach without committing to the more difficult access of Chalikiada. Its setting is greener and more tucked away, with a more intimate feel than Skala.
A practical middle ground
Because Skliri is small, and access can involve steps or a path depending on your approach, this isn’t a beach for everyone. It suits confident walkers and travellers who prefer quieter water over a fully serviced beach, and space is limited in high season.
Practical tips
- Reachable on foot from Skala in around 15–20 minutes.
- Limited space — arrive early in July and August.
- A natural stop on the way to or from Chalikiada.
- Fewer facilities than Skala — bring what you need.
Why it stands out
Skliri is the easy first step beyond Skala — close enough to reach on foot without transport, but green and quiet enough to feel like a genuinely different beach, which makes it a good test of whether you want to continue on to Chalikiada.
